Honda's Legend wins 'Car of the Year Japan' award

TOKYO, Japan - The new Legend sedan made by Honda Motor Co. has won the title of ''Car of the Year Japan'' for 2004-2005, the executive committee for the award said Nov. 11. The Legend, which had a full-model change for the first time in eight years in October, won the award for its advanced and original all-wheel driving technology, the committee said.

Toyota releases all-new Prius

NAGOYA, Japan - Toyota Motor Corp. President Fujio Cho stands beside the all-new Prius hybrid passenger car featuring a substantial improvement in fuel efficiency which his company launched on the Japanese market on Sept. 1.
