People bid farewell to Tokyo's National Stadium

TOKYO, Japan - People form the five-ring Olympic emblem on the field of Tokyo's National Stadium on May 31, 2014, during a farewell event. The stadium, the centerpiece of the 1964 Summer Olympic Games, is to be demolished to make way for the main venue for the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. The demolition work will begin in July and the new National Stadium is to be completed by March 2016.
