The CAAP said the aircraft, with four people on board, including the pilot, a crew member, and two passengers, took off at 6:43 a.m. local time at Bicol International Airport. The plane, with tail number RP C2080, was headed to Manila, but failed to reach its destination. The aircraft reportedly lost contact at 6:46 a.m. local time.
