Chuo Univ. professor stabbed to death on campus, man flees

TOKYO, Japan - Police officers are on guard at the campus of Chuo University in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward where Hajime Takakubo, a professor of the university's Faculty of Science and Engineering, was stabbed to death by an unidentified man Jan. 14. Takakubo was found lying in the bathroom on the fourth floor of the No. 1 building of the university's Korakuen Campus. The suspect, who appeared to be in his 30s, ran from the scene.
