Dnipro after Russian missile attack on November 21, 2024

DNIPRO, UKRAINE - NOVEMBER 21, 2024 - A room in the rehabilitation centre for people with disabilities is damaged by the Russian missile strike, Dnipro, east-central Ukraine. On Thursday morning, November 21, Russians launched an intercontinental ballistic missile, a Kinzhal, and seven Kh-101 cruise missiles at Dnipro. The Ukrainian air defence units intercepted six Kh-101 missiles.

Aftermath of Russian missile strike on Dnipro

DNIPRO, UKRAINE - JUNE 29, 2024 - A broken fridge is seen on the ground outside the apartment block damaged by the June 28 Russian missile attack, Dnipro, east-central Ukraine. On Friday, June 28, Russian troops attacked a residential building in Dnipro with a rocket. The Interior Ministry says that one person died and 12 people were injured, including a baby and a pregnant woman. The flats from the 8th to 11th floor were destroyed and 11 cars were damaged.

Matsushita to launch fluorocarbon-free refrigerator

OSAKA, Japan - Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. will launch next Feb. 1 the first refrigerator in the Japanese market that does not use fluorocarbon refrigerants, which are thought to emit ozonosphere-depleting gas, the company said Nov. 8. The 320-liter NR-C32EP fridge employs a cooling system that uses hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is much less harmful to the environment.
