US: Massive Ice Volcano Forms at Letchworth State Park Amid Winter Weather Advisories

A massive "ice volcano" was formed at Letchworth State Park, spanning Livingston and Wyoming counties, in upstate New York, as a frozen fountain inched upward to create a spectacular icy geyser. The phenomenon occurred amid a Cold Weather Advisory for western New York, where dangerously low wind chills posed a severe risk of frostbite.

Bacteriological warfare museum to open in Harbin next June

KOCHI, Japan - The building of freezer rooms where the Imperial Japanese Army's notorious ''Unit 731'' medical research team conducted frostbite experiments on prisoners of war during World War II is seen in this photo provided by Toru Kurihara. Kurihara is involved in a Chinese project to build a museum on the site where the ''Unit 731'' team carried out live biological warfare experiments on POWs. China plans to open part of the museum to the public next June.
