OSAKA, Japan - Photo taken on June 1, 2012, shows Sharp Corp.'s organic electroluminescence display panel with a new material. The Osaka-based electronics company said the same day it has developed a technology to make higher resolution images on organic electroluminescence display panels for smartphones and other electronics products. The technology involves use of indium-gallium-zinc oxide semiconductors, a new material which Sharp already employs to increase the picture definition on its mass-produced liquid crystal display panels.
