Cherry trees at Suwa Park

The west side of Suwa Park is viewed from near the fountain around 1895. The cherry blossoms in full bloom are depicted with bright tinting. This is said to be the first Western-style fountain built in Japan. The cherry trees inside the fence seems to be the ganjitsu-sakura species.
