Chokugaku Gate is viewed from the northeast, outside Yushoin Mausoleum. Dragons are engraved on the gateposts. Many photographs were taken of these dragons because of their excellent craftsmanship, and many still remain. Chokugaku Gate, the main entrance to the mausoleum of the 7th Shogun Tokugawa Ietsugu, and the bell tower are viewed from the south. There are carvings of dragons on the gateposts. The most opulent of the Tokugawa mausoleums at Zojoji Temple, it was the last built exclusively as a mausoleum. The photo of Ikuno Kouzan Seikou-jyo(Mining Industry), it was established in May 23, 1876. The bridge is Kaika-kyo and you can find the main gate in center. As the name Chokugakumon ( gate with an imperial inscription ) implies, there is a plaque with the word Yushoin written by Emperor Nakamikado.
