Gérard Zlotykamien, also nicknamed Zloty, is a French visual artist, born in 1940. Along with Daniel Buren, Ernest Pignon-Ernest and Jacques Villeglé, he is one of the initiators of Urban Art in France and is considered to be the first street artist. For 60 years, he has been frantically tracing his evanescent figures in the streets that he calls "Ephemerals", which can be shadows, memories, tributes or ghosts.
