Brazil: Fire Forces Evacuation at COP30 UN Climate Summit in Belém 2

Attendees were forced to evacuate a pavilion at the COP30 climate summit in Belém, Brazil, on Thursday, November 20, after a fire broke out, believed to have been sparked by a generator failure or short circuit. The fire was contained quickly, though 13 people were treated for smoke inhalation, and the affected "Blue Zone" was temporarily closed.
