Sadikin said the deaths were among a total of 241 cases reported in 22 provinces since January, adding that most patients were children under the age of six. The minister said laboratory tests concluded that there were compounds of diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol in the children's blood. Authorities have found 102 types of syrup the children were consuming at home, details of which will be announced soon.
