Several people were injured in multiple prefectures, including Iwate, Ibaraki, and Tochigi. In Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, a large tree, roughly 1 meter in diameter and 18 meters tall, snapped at its base and blocked a road and sidewalk near JR Utsunomiya Station's west exit, apparently due to strong winds from the typhoon. No injuries were reported there, according to city officials and fire authorities.
