China: Men Rescue Child Dangling From Sixth Floor Window Grille

On September 5, 2026, in Shuozhou, Shanxi, two men risked their safety to rescue a five-year-old child left dangling from a sixth-floor window after accidentally falling from his home, his head caught in a protective grille. Climbing down from the balcony above, the pair carefully made their way to the child and pulled him to safety.

US: Downed Tree Sparks Fire After Knocking Out Power Line During Michigan Storm

Severe storms battered southeast Michigan, including Detroit, on Wednesday, September 2, with torrential rain and hail, prompting tornado warnings across the region. The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down in Marysville in St. Clair County. This video shows a downed tree that knocked out a power line at a home in Monroe County, which then caught fire during the storm.
