On December 13, 2024, in Guangdong, located in southern China, a video captured two men demonstrating the fascinating phenomenon of water turning to ice in extreme cold. In the snowy outdoors, they boiled a kettle of water and poured it into a bowl. Then, with a dramatic gesture, they flung the hot water into the air. The near-instantaneous freezing of the water, due to the frigid temperatures, created beautiful ice crystals that scattered and sparkled under the sunlight. China: Good Samaritans Bring Warmth And Food To Stranded Drivers Amid Snowstorm

In a video recorded on February 4, 2024, in Jinzhai, Lu’An, Anhui, heavy snowfall caused a massive traffic jam on the highway, leaving many drivers stranded for over a day without food. During this challenging time, kind-hearted local villagers climbed up the snowy slope to reach the stranded drivers, bringing them hot water and instant noodles to provide warmth and sustenance. Their selfless generosity brought relief and comfort to those stuck on the road. The video owner mentioned that one of the Samaritans said his son and daughter-in-law would come back for the Chinese New Year, and he didn’t know if they could under these difficult conditions. He should have felt the same so he also helped those stuck on the highway rush home for the holiday.
