US: Level 2 Evacuations Issued As Upper Cemetery Fire Sparks In Spokane

The Upper Cemetery Fire, previously called the Hills Fire, sparked near Greenwood Memorial Terrace in the Spokane Palisades Park area on Friday, July 26. The fire burned 90 acres, threatening more than 500 structures within hours, and level 2 evacuations were in place.

The Satsuma Official Residence

The house behind tsukiji wall is the main residence of the Arimas of Chikugo(Present day southern region of Fukuoka Prefecture) Kurume-han fief. The long wall is the wall around the main residence of the Kurodas of Akizuki-han fief of the Chikuzen region(the north western part of present day Fukuoka prefecture). At the end of the street, by the big tree, is Tenso Shrine. The shrine is called Moto-Shinmyo or Koyama shrine and it is said to be the old site of the Shiba Great Shrine. This area is currently Mita 1-chome, Minato Ward. This photo captures the southern view facing Nakanohashi Bridgeover Furukawa River in the back. The Shimabara-han Fief Second Residence

This location is the present day Tsunazaka slope at Mita 2-chome. The house on the right was the residence of the Matsudairas of the Hizen(present day Nagasaki Prefecture) Shimabara-han fief, the house on the right going up the slope was the residence of the Matsudairas of the Iyo(present day Ehime Prefecture) Matsuyama-han fief, and the one on the left was the second residence of the Matsudairas of Mutsu(present day Aomori and part of Iwate Prefectures). Right now there stands Keio University at the bottom of the slope and the Italian Embassy on top of the slope. The site of the residences of Satohara-han and Matsuyama-han belongs to the Mitsui Club in Tsuna-machi.
