British globe runner arrives in Nihombashi

Robert Garside, a 31-year-old Briton attempting to run aroundthe world, arrives in Nihombashi in Tokyo's Chuo Ward on June 11,completing the eastern leg of his Japan course, which started fromJapan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido. Garside left London inDecember 1996 on a 55,000-kilometer journey around the world.
