China: Rare Wild Lynx Sighting on Heilongjiang Highway

On October 10, 2025, a woman driving along National Highway 311 in the Greater Khingan Mountains, Heilongjiang, had a rare face-to-face encounter with a wild lynx. She stopped her car and called out “Mimi” as the lynx calmly watched before retreating into the forest.
