Guillaume Large (Chen Shaoquan), a 44-year-old Taichi enthusiast from Bordeaux of France, has been practicing Taichi for over 20 years. Guillaume Large got a sports injury in his young age and decided to start practicing Taichi at a local club in France as a way of recovery. From then on he gradually fell in love with Taichi. In 2007, Guillaume Large and his fellows established an association, aiming to promote Chinese culture in France through teaching Taichi and Chinese, etc. In 2013, he started to learn Taichi from Chen Ziqiang, the head coach of Chenjiagou Taichi School in Wenxian County, central China's Henan Province. Since then, he has led French students to come to study in Chenjiagou almost every year.
