China: Pet Owner Reveals Unusual Two-Headed Bearded Dragon

This is the rare moment that a Chinese man presented an unusual two-headed bearded dragon, drawing attention as the reptile calmly moved with both heads sharing a single body. On December 8, 2025, in Hubei, China, the video captured a pet owner gently holding out his finger while the small reptile slowly crawled forward. The bearded dragon appeared to have two fully formed heads connected to one body, each head moving slightly independently as it balanced itself. The man kept his hand steady, allowing the creature to explore without disturbance. The reptile’s tiny claws gripped his finger as both heads looked around, creating a striking and rare visual. The video ended with the two-headed bearded dragon continuing to crawl calmly along the man’s finger as he observed it closely.

Each morning at Huaping High School for Girls in Yunnan Province, the schoolyard rings with a bold pledge, "I was born to be a mountain not a creek, rising to the high peaks with the valleys at my feet." Behind that voice stands Zhang Guimei, the school's founder and principal. In her sixties and struggling with illness, she still devotes more than 18 hours a day to her students. Megaphone in hand, she has become a living symbol of how education can open doors that poverty once closed. Founded in 2008, Huaping High School for Girls is the country's first senior high school to offer free education for girls. The school in mountainous Yunnan Province has created a miracle, with more than 2,000 graduates -- most of whom come from low-income rural families -- admitted to colleges and universities. Hamas rocket attack in Ashkelon

Security personnel work at a site of a rocket attack fired from the Gaza Strip, in Ashkelon, Israel on April 6, 2025. Three people were slightly injured on Sunday during a rocket attack on southern Israel by Hamas, which prompted the Israeli army to launch multiple airstrikes on central Gaza later in the day, according to Israeli and Palestinian sources. Earlier on Sunday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said in a brief statement that it had attacked Ashdod in southern Israel with a barrage of rockets in response to what it described as Israeli "massacres" against Palestinian civilians. Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee confirmed in a statement that 10 rockets were fired from Gaza, most of which were intercepted. Later, Israel's state-owned Kan TV News reported that one of the rockets had fallen in central Ashkelon, resulting in the three injuries. Photo by Ilan Assayag/JINI via Xinhua/ABACAPRESS.COM
