Fukushima town remains empty, but nuclear slogan disappears

Photo taken Feb. 26, 2016 shows Yuji Onuma standing in front of the sign which used to read "Nuclear power: the energy for a bright future" in Futaba, Fukushima Prefecture. Onuma, a Futaba resident now evacuated to Ibaraki Prefecture north of Tokyo, created the slogan, the lettering of which was removed in December 2015. The signboard itself was taken away in early March 2016. Photo by Koji Harada. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
