During the opening ceremony on Thursday, Iraqi Health Minister Salih Mahdi al-Hasnawi called on international and Arab companies to participate in the Iraqi pharmaceutical industry. "The Iraqi government program gives the utmost importance to developing the health sector and the localization of the pharmaceutical industry," al-Hasnawi said. According to the organizer, the three-day expo aims to attract specialists and manufacturers in the health field from all over the world to support the health system in Iraq by establishing effective partnerships.
