An aerial drone photo taken on September 25, 2025 shows factory buildings of a company in a mess after Typhoon Ragasa in Yangjiang City, south China's Guangdong Province. More than 2.16 million local residents had been relocated in south China's Guangdong Province as of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, in response to Typhoon Ragasa, which made landfall in the province at about 5 p.m. Typhoon Ragasa, the 18th typhoon of this year, with maximum wind force near its center reaching 40 meters per second, churned ashore at Hailing Island in the city of Yangjiang in Guangdong, according to the provincial meteorological observatory. US: Plane with “Mess With Texas” Banner Flies Over Blue States

On Monday, August 4, several planes flew over the capitals of blue states, including Albany, New York; Springfield, Illinois; and Annapolis, Maryland, displaying a banner that read "Mess with Texas." The message appeared to reference an ongoing redistricting fight in Texas, where Republicans are advocating for a rare mid-decade redistricting plan.

China: Freezing Temperatures Cause Car Window Frost In Yantai, Shandong

On December 11, 2023, in Yantai, a city located in eastern China's Shandong Province, a chilly winter morning revealed a car parked outdoors with its windows covered in a thick layer of frost. The frost resembled a delicate white curtain, completely obscuring the glass. The driver, feeling playful, lowered the window and began tapping at the ice. Suddenly, the sheet of ice broke free and fell directly into the car, creating an unexpected winter mess inside the vehicle.
