A two-minute silence was observed across the UK at 11:00 GMT on Tuesday, November 11, to mark Armistice Day. The commemoration, which took place at the Cenotaph in Whitehall and other landmarks, was held to remember the fallen and honor the exact time the agreement to end fighting in World War One came into effect on November 11, 1918.

Visas will be paid in U.S. dollars, the ministry affirmed. The procedure comes within the framework of the ministry's promotional campaign to attract and optimize yacht tourism in Egypt, in addition to speeding up the steps. Unlike before, yachts can now leave from any tourist port, not just where they arrived, granting greater flexibility in planning their itineraries.
