China: Driver Sparks Chaos With Fireworks Before Fleeing Police

On January 28, 2025, in Hebei, China, the video captured a man lighting fireworks on a street curb beside his parked car when uniformed officers approached to stop him. Realizing he was about to be detained, the driver jumped back into the vehicle and abruptly reversed at high speed. As the car lurched backward, sparks from the still-burning fireworks shot toward the rear of the vehicle, igniting thick clouds of smoke that rapidly filled the street. The video ended with the smoke billowing across the roadway as the car sped away and the police were left behind in the drifting haze.

China: Mother Cat Rescues Kitten From High Stone Wall

On May 17, 2025, in Zhejiang Province in eastern China, a video captured a tense rescue as a frightened kitten clung to vines on a high stone wall. Struggling to hold on, the kitten dangled precariously while its mother paced anxiously along the edge above. After searching in vain for a safe way down, the mother cat finally summoned her courage and jumped to the ground below. Moments later, the kitten lost its grip and slipped from the vines, landing safely beside her. Relieved, the mother gently picked up the kitten in her mouth and, using footholds and vines, carefully climbed back up the stone wall. The dramatic moment ended on a reassuring note as the pair reached safety together.
