World's oldest nautilus dies at aquarium in western Japan

The world's oldest chambered nautilus raised in captivity at the Toba Aquarium in Toba, Mie Prefecture, western Japan, is shown in this file photo taken in March 2014. It died of unknown causes on Aug. 3, 2015. The female species, hatched at the aquarium on July 10, 2009, lived for 2,216 days.
