Niigata man gets 14 yrs for confining girl for 9 yrs

NIIGATA, Japan - Thirty-nine-year-old Nobuyuki Sato (file photo) was sentenced by the Niigata District Court to 14 years in prison Jan. 22 for abducting a 9-year-old girl in 1990 and keeping her prisoner in his home in Niigata Prefecture for more than nine years.
