China: Golden Retriever Rolls in Snow for Dry Bath

On February 14, 2025, in Liaoning Province in northeastern China, a video captured a golden retriever rolling back and forth in a snowy field. The dog flipped over repeatedly, covering its body with fresh snow. The dog’s fur appeared clean and fluffy as it continued to tumble across the ground, clearly enjoying the motion. Snow scattered around its body each time it turned. The owner explained that the snow in the region is loose and powdery, and that a quick shake removes it without soaking the fur.

Shenyang, located in northeastern China, experienced an eerie spectacle on the night of November 3, 2024. Residents captured video footage showing the sky swarming with countless black crows flying in chaotic patterns. Many of the birds perched on power lines, creating a dense and ominous silhouette against the night sky. The scene resembled something out of an animated film or thriller, evoking both awe and unease. Suddenly, a swarm of small yellow bugs flew onto the car’s front windshield, clinging tightly and refusing to leave. The bugs crowded the glass, initially sounding like raindrops hitting the window.
