Similarly, temperatures in other regions, including Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Magway, northern and southern Shan state, Chin state, and Kayah state, surged 3 to 4 degrees Celsius above their usual averages. An official from Kayunar Rescue Organization in Hpakant township said that their team was working at the scene, and one dead body was found and four others sustained serious injuries.
