Tokyo Electric also had reactor troubles

Tokyo Electric says March 20 that it has unreported problems with reactor control rods at its Fukushima No. 2 nuclear power plant in Fukushima in June 1993 and at the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa plant in April 2000 during regular checkups. Three other regional electric power companies have also reported similar nuclear power plant control problems and prompted a government investigation. (Kyodo)
