The front of the coin depicts a hillock with a lime tree (a Czech symbol) the crown of which is covered by shields with heraldic animals from the great Czech state emblem, such as the Bohemian lion and the Moravian and Silesian eagles. It is accompanied by the coin's value of 10,000 crowns. The back side shows the great emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic with a facsimile of the signatures of the first and second Czechoslovak presidents, Tomas Garrigue Masaryk and Edvard Benes, and the first defence minister Milan Rastislav Stefanik, in the upper part. The lower part shows a hillock with a young linden tree and the dates 1918 and 2018. the golden coin worth 10,000 crowns

The CNB Czech central bank has issued a golden coin worth 10,000 crowns on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia, the CNB has announced in a press release on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. The front of the coin depicts a hillock with a lime tree (a Czech symbol) the crown of which is covered by shields with heraldic animals from the great Czech state emblem, such as the Bohemian lion and the Moravian and Silesian eagles. It is accompanied by the coin's value of 10,000 crowns. The back side shows the great emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic with a facsimile of the signatures of the first and second Czechoslovak presidents, Tomas Garrigue Masaryk and Edvard Benes, and the first defence minister Milan Rastislav Stefanik, in the upper part. The lower part shows a hillock with a young linden tree and the dates 1918 and 2018. There is an inscription reading THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA around the coin with the initials of the author of its artistic design, artist Vladimir Pavlica. (CTK Photo/Vit Simanek)
