China: Traffic Officer Stops Cars to Help Kitten Cross Road in Qinghai

On November 24, 2025, in Qinghai, western China, a touching moment warmed the cold winter day. At an intersection, a traffic police officer noticed a tiny kitten trying to cross the zebra line. He slowed down the traffic and patiently waited as the kitten trotted behind him, safely making it to the other side. Only after confirming the kitten was out of danger did the officer signal the vehicles to proceed.
