15 Days After The Passage Of The DANA Over Valencia

The country's worst cold drop in a century claimed 215 lives, and 23 people were reported missing. While the population tries to recover from the tragedy, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a new orange alert for the arrival of a new DANA that will arrive from this afternoon-evening to Valencia and could leave ''very heavy and persistent'' rainfall. Although this time the alert is orange and not red, many municipalities have taken preventive measures such as the suspension of classes or the installation of sandbags as a preventive measure against overflowing rivers.
