The sculpture was dismantled from the dome of the Boim Chapel in 2021 due to active destruction and moved to the workshop. After the start of the full-scale war, the Pensive Christ was transported to Poland. In Warsaw, more than 20 specialists worked on restoring the monument at the expense of Polish partners.
