Romania: Storm Batters Bucharest With Heavy Rain, Strong Winds

Footage showed strong winds and heavy rain battering Bucharest around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, as an overnight storm flooded buildings and vehicles across the Romanian capital following a heatwave that swept much of Europe. One person died in nearby Ganeasa, west of Bucharest, after being struck by a falling tree.
