Andes Pavilion finally opens at Expo

NAGAKUTE, Japan - Andean Amazonian Pavilion, a pavilion jointly organized by Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Venezuela at the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi Prefecture, is opened for press preview on May 12. Miguel Posani, representative of the Venezuelan government, said in a speech at the opening ceremony, ''There is a significance in us coming to the exposition with the theme of 'Nature's Wisdom.' We want to make use of what we learned from the ancient civilizations.''
