China: Man Rescues Goose Trapped on Ice in Tianjin

This is the dramatic moment that a Chinese man stepped in to rescue a goose after it became stuck to an icy surface, turning a winter mishap into a quick and practical act of help. On January 30, 2026, in Tianjin, the video captured a bizarre scene on a frozen patch of ground where a goose had been trapped by ice. The surface was solid and slick, and the bird could not move without risking injury. A man approached with a shovel, assessed the situation, and began to chip away at the ice around the goose. He worked carefully, lifting thin layers and loosening the frozen edges to avoid hurting the animal. As the ice cracked and separated, the goose gradually regained its footing and tried to pull free, flapping slightly while the man kept clearing space. The video ended with the goose finally released from the ice and standing safely on the cleared ground.
