Lin Mingchang, born in 1982, lost both of his hands in a car accident when he was 22 years old. Despite grappling with despair in the aftermath, he mustered up the courage to rebuild his life. Lin started his printing business with a computer and a printer. The beginning was very hard for him. He spent much more time than a normal person mastering typing and design. Gradually, his hard work paid off as his printing business got improved. As his life was getting better, Lin hoped to help more disabled people. In 2016, with support and assistance from the local government, he established a service center for the disabled, offering services such as daytime care, skill training, and rehabilitation exercises. He also founded a farming cooperative to provide employment opportunities for the disabled. (Xinhua/Chen Zeguo)
