Urami Falls,Nikko

This waterfall is reached by descending Iroha Slope from Lake Chuzenji, passing Nyonindo and continuing to Fukazawa on Daiya River, and then walking a short distance. Since the mouth of the falls protrudes, revealing the back of the falls, this waterfall is also called kourami (glimpse of the back). Yumoto hot spring inn

The view of the hotels of Yumoto from Usagijima which protrudes from the north shore of Lake Yuno. The name Yunoko (Spa Lake) was derived from the hot water pouring into the river. The waters of Lake Yuno flow into Yu Falls and then Yu River. Lake yunoko at yumoto hot spring

Shadows of Mt. Kinsei and Onsengatake fall on the surface of Lake Yuno in Nikko as if reflected in a mirror. The clear mountain image is impressive. Usagi Island protrudes at the right. The stage of Kiyomizudera Temple,Kyoto

The Kiyomizu Temple in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto city, head temple of the Hokuhoso Sect. It is a fudasho (an office where amulets are distributed to pilgrims) among the 33 spiritual places of western Japan. The main building is located at the middle of Mt. Otowa built on an overhanging cliff (Kengaizukuri), with pillars 9 ken (about 16.3 m) in length and beams 7 ken (about 12.7 m) in length. The main part is divided into outer and inner chambers, and the outer front part has two chapels of worship and a canopy. The verandah protrudes to the left and right. The front of the canopy is famous as the Kiyomizu no Butai (the stage of Kiyomizu).
