Objects were thrown from the away section, hitting goalscorer Donyell Malen in the head and leaving him with a cut. More disorder broke out after Villa’s second goal, as fans threw additional items and confronted officers, with punches and seats being thrown. Several fans were removed before play resumed a few minutes later.
