US: Bomb Cyclone Slams Northeast, Triggering Blizzard Warnings and Travel Shutdowns 11

A powerful “bomb cyclone” battered the northeastern United States on Sunday, February 22, with blizzard warnings in effect for New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia. Wind gusts up to 60–70 mph and snowfall totals of up to two feet are causing power outages, travel shutdowns, thousands of flight cancellations, and states of emergency across multiple states.
