CAIRO, Egypt - A woman wearing a niqab appears on a TV program on Arabic studies at a studio in Cairo in July 2012. The TV station employs some 40 women as announcers, directors and cameramen, all of whom wear niqabs. It started broadcasting on July 20, aimed at eliminating discrimination against women wearing niqabs in Egypt where such women are a rarity.
