TOKYO, Japan, July 31 Kyodo - A flow chart shows the process of recruiting people for illicit part-time jobs.1) A potential applicant searches for part-time jobs by entering such key phrases as "highly paid jobs" on X and other social media platforms before contacting a group offering illicit jobs.2) The applicant is asked to use high-secrecy apps like Signal for further communication with the group.3) The applicant submits his or her personal data such as ID to the group.4) The group orders the applicant to commit theft and other illegal conduct, threatening to disclose his or her ID if they refuse.(Kyodo)
