TOKYO, Japan - Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Shoichi Nakagawa (R) hands a certificate to Mitsubishi Motors Corp. Chairman Yoichiro Okazak on July 16, approving a revised application by the struggling automaker for rehabilitation under the Industrial Revitalization Law. Under the rehabilitation plan, Mitsubishi will be accorded tax breaks and other preferential measures. The automaker will be required to report the progress of rehabilitation to METI on a monthly basis. (Kyodo)
