The 300-square-meter rink is environmentally friendly as it does not use water to make ice and can operate at half the cost of conventional ice rinks as it does not require a cooling system.

It will remain open until February 28, 2023. According to mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, over 200 skating rinks with artificial ice are expected to operate this winter in the Russian capital. Traditionally, skating rinks with artificial ice start operation in November, and when cold weather becomes stable, the ones with natural ice will open as well.
