(240203) -- XUNKE, Feb. 3, 2024 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on Feb. 2, 2024 shows a bus running on a road at Pingtai Village in Xunke County of Heihe, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. During harsh winter conditions, the supercooled water droplets from the Kurbin River rise and form rime on branches of trees along the bank when the river flows through Pingtai Village of Xunke County. This picturesque rime scenery attracts tourists from around the country. Although it is freezing cold in Pingtai Village in winter, the Kurbin River remains unfrozen due to the nearby working hydropower station. Xunke County has invested more than 37 million yuan (about 5.14 million U.S. dollars) in developing the rime scenic spot, attracting approximately 140,000 visitors annually. (Xinhua/Xie Jianfei)
