US: Falcon 9 Streaks Across Arizona Sky After Vandenberg Launch

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Friday, January 2, deploying Italy’s dual-use Cosmo-SkyMed Second Generation Flight Model 3 (CSG-FM3) satellite into low Earth orbit. The mission, delayed by pad issues, marked SpaceX’s first orbital launch in 16 days and included a successful booster landing.
