New MSDF patrol ship

Photo taken on Nov. 13, 2025, shows a new Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force patrol ship, the Sakura, after its launch ceremony in Yokohama near Tokyo. The 95-meter vessel with an engine displacement of 1,900 tons will be commissioned in 2027.
