The ‘ Museum of the Holy Souls in Purgatory’ housed in a room of the small neo-Gothic church of the Sacred Heart of Suffrage (Chiesa del Sacro Cuore del Suffragio) in Rome, Italy on March 5, 2025 is one of a kind in the world as it pretends to offer undeniable proofs of the existence of Purgatory. - PICTURED: Photography of a burn mark left by the deceased Mrs Leleux on the sleeve of her son Joseph’s skirt, when she appeared him on the night of 21 June 1789 in Wodecq (Belgium). TOKYO, Japan - Prosecutors on May 20, 2010 filed a summary indictment against photographer Kishin Shinoyama (file photo) on charges of public indecency and blasphemy for shooting nude photos in a Tokyo cemetery. According to the indictment, Shinoyama, 69, took obscene photographs at Aoyama Cemetery in Tokyo's Minato Ward on the night of Oct. 15, 2008 and thus disrespected the sanctity of the site.
