TOKYO, Japan - The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said April 7 that it has succeeded in a test to deploy a large-scale antenna for an engineering test satellite to be launched by the end of the current fiscal year. JAXA's deployment test of the antenna, which is 19 meters long and 17 meters wide, was conducted at Toshiba Corp.'s plant in Fuchu, western Tokyo.
